The research described in this paper, published inTheranostics(lF=12.4),used our NAC-Organ 3Dculture technology to assemble senescent hepatidstellate cells and normal primary hepatocytes into3D micro-organs. After two weeks, compared to thecontrol group, the senescent group showedsignificantly elevated levels of alpha-fetoprotein(AFP),B-catenin, and Gli-1. Additionally, the epitheliamarker characteristics(suchas E-cadherinexpression)of the senescent group 3D organoidswere significantly reduced. These findings furtherdemonstrate that changes in proteins secreted bysenescent hepatic stellate cells facilitate themalignanttransformation ofhepatocytes
